NQ64 opens largest venue in Soho, bringing two floors of retro arcade action to Orange Yard
NQ64, the UK-based retro arcade bar operator, has opened its biggest venue yet in London's Soho district.
Located in Orange Yard on Manette Street, the new NQ64 Soho follows the company's familiar formula of coin-operated arcade cabinets and vintage consoles paired with a music-led bar experience and themed drinks.
The Soho location spans two floors and houses more than 60 arcade machines, making it one of NQ64's most substantial spaces to date.
For the first time in the chain, the venue introduces UV pool tables and augmented-reality darts alongside the existing lineup of classic arcade hardware and console setups.
The opening replaces NQ64's nearby Berwick Street venue and expands the operator's footprint across the UK.
NQ64 began in Manchester in 2019, founded by Andy Haygarth and Matt Robson, and has since grown to multiple city locations.
The new Soho site joins venues in Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Bristol, Nottingham and Newcastle, further cementing the brand's presence in the British arcade and hospitality scene.
On the drinks front, NQ64's press materials highlighted a cocktail menu intentionally steeped in gaming references.
The operator said its best-selling cocktail, the Quick Revive No.5, draws direct inspiration from a well-known Call of Duty perk, while the Frozen Deadshot Daiquiri is promoted as a popular frozen serve.
NQ64 also noted non-alcoholic options, including an alcohol-free beverage called CBD Hits From The Pong, plus a rotating selection of craft beers and spirits.
Co-founder Andy Haygarth described the Soho opening as the largest realisation of the original concept.
He said the company started in Manchester with a straightforward goal: bring the games they loved into a bar environment they themselves would want to spend time in.
In announcing the new site at Orange Yard, Haygarth said the team had managed to fit more than 60 arcade machines into the central Soho location while adding pool and darts for the first time, calling the launch “a huge moment” for the company.
