Revealed during the latest Pokémon Presents showcase, this new theme park experience will be located at the famed Yomiuriland amusement park in Inagi, Tokyo, inviting fans to immerse themselves in a real-world recreation of the Pokémon universe’s beloved Kanto region. During the Pokémon Presents broadcast, Junichi Masuda, Chief Creative Fellow at The Pokémon Company and well-known figure in Pokémon game development, provided a detailed look at the park’s concept.

Unveiling early visuals and design plans, Masuda emphasized the goal of bringing the world of Pokémon to life for fans of all ages, stating the team’s vision is to establish an environment where visitors can feel as if Pokémon truly exist around them. PokéPark Kanto will feature two distinct areas: a lively town zone inspired by the villages and cities found throughout the mainline Pokémon games, and a lush forest area evoking the wilds of the Kanto region.

The town will offer iconic locations familiar to longtime fans, including a Pokémon Center, Poké Mart, and communal gathering spots for Trainers.

Meanwhile, the forest section promises to capture the spirit of exploration and adventure at the heart of the Pokémon series. A highlight of PokéPark Kanto will be its numerous Pokémon statues dispersed throughout the park.
