Quaxly Arrives as Latest Build-A-Bear Pokémon Plush for Nintendo Fans

Build-A-Bear Workshop continues its successful partnership with The Pokémon Company, announcing the release of a new Quaxly plush for Pokémon fans and collectors.

Quaxly, originally introduced in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet for the Nintendo Switch as part of Pokémon's ninth generation, is celebrated among fans for its distinctive style and water-type abilities.

Quaxly quickly became a fan favorite upon its debut, recognized for its immaculate appearance and powerful swimming skills.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet launched globally on November 18, 2022, and have since sold more than 23 million units worldwide, underscoring their enduring popularity on the Nintendo Switch platform. The newly released Quaxly Build-A-Bear plush features details faithful to the character’s in-game design.

This collectible plush is outfitted in an exclusive orange and blue tank top.

Additionally, it includes a specially designed 5-in-1 sound chip that plays Quaxly's signature cries from the video games when its paw is pressed, adding a layer of interactive fun for fans.

A representative from Build-A-Bear Workshop highlighted the plush’s appeal, stating that the new release 'celebrates Quaxly’s character and offers collectors and fans a unique way to bring the world of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet into their own homes.' The Quaxly plush is priced at $60, in line with recent Build-A-Bear Pokémon collaborations.

Fans in North America can place orders through the Build-A-Bear Workshop’s official website, while customers in the United Kingdom have dedicated access on the UK site.

The ongoing Pokémon partnership has brought numerous iconic characters to Build-A-Bear’s lineup, including the recently introduced Ponyta plush. This release further expands the Build-A-Bear Pokémon collection, providing Nintendo Switch players and Pokémon enthusiasts more ways to celebrate their favorite games both in and out of the digital world.
