In celebration of its first anniversary milestone, Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket is receiving a major update, as The Pokémon Company unveils the highly anticipated Mega Rising expansion and new app features.

Scheduled for release on October 30, the Mega Rising expansion introduces Mega Evolution cards to the digital mobile card game, marking a significant addition to its roster. Developed by The Pokémon Company, Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket launched in 2023 and has seen remarkable success, surpassing 150 million downloads globally within its inaugural year.

This achievement solidifies the game's status as a leading title within mobile gaming and the broader Pokémon franchise.

The Pokémon Company confirmed the milestone, underscoring ongoing player engagement and enthusiasm for the digital adaptation of the beloved trading card game. The incoming Mega Rising expansion brings Mega Gyarados, Mega Blaziken, and Mega Altaria to the forefront, with these powerful Mega Evolution Pokémon featured on the covers and available as chase cards in the new set.

In recognition of the anniversary, all users will automatically receive one of each Mega Evolution card on launch day, adding immediate value for both new and established players.

Alongside the expansion, Special Missions will be introduced, while previous Special Drop and Wonder Pick events are being reissued, offering fans expanded opportunities for gameplay and collection.
