In a landmark achievement for the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet community, The Pokémon Company has officially announced that players will be rewarded with a Shiny Ting-Lu via Mystery Gift, following the resounding success of the third "Shiny Treasures of Ruin" Tera Raid challenge on the Nintendo Switch. Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, which launched globally on November 18, 2022, continues to engage trainers worldwide with new events and content drops.

The special Tera Raid challenges have become a highlight on the Nintendo Switch, offering players unique ways to interact, battle, and obtain rare Pokémon such as those from the Treasures of Ruin set.

Ting-Lu, one of the four Pokémon in this legendary group, is especially coveted by collectors, particularly in its shiny variant. The recently concluded event set a clear objective: the global player base needed to defeat at least one million Shiny Ting-Lu in the designated Tera Raids.

The Pokémon Company revealed that by August 25, 2025, participants had more than doubled this goal, collectively defeating over 2.2 million Shiny Ting-Lu.

A representative for The Pokémon Company summarized the event’s outcome, stating that the community’s efforts had dramatically surpassed initial expectations, securing a special distribution for all trainers.

As a result, all players will be eligible to receive a Shiny Ting-Lu through the Mystery Gift feature in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.

The distribution is scheduled to begin on September 5, 2025, allowing fans across the globe to add this rare Pokémon to their collection. The victory was celebrated on the official Pokémon social media channels, reaffirming the community-driven spirit of Pokémon events.

The successful Tera Raid challenge not only demonstrates the enduring popularity of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet on the Nintendo Switch eShop, but also highlights the engagement and cooperation among trainers worldwide.
