The Pokémon Company has launched a new global Mystery Gift event for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, giving fans a rare opportunity to acquire a Flutter Mane inspired by the winning team from the Japan Championships 2024.
This limited-time distribution, available to all players on Nintendo Switch via the in-game Mystery Gift feature, marks one of the company’s ongoing efforts to celebrate competitive Pokémon play and reward the franchise’s dedicated community.
This exclusive Flutter Mane is modeled after the creature used by 2024 Japan Champion Hyuma Hara and arrives with tournament-accurate stats and moves.
Players who redeem the Mystery Gift will receive a level 50 Flutter Mane with the Protosynthesis ability, Booster Energy held item, Fairy Tera-Type, and the following competitive moves: Moonblast, Icy Wind, Trick Room, and Taunt.
These characteristics match those used during the championship, providing an authentic experience for fans looking to replicate Hyuma Hara’s strategies in their own battles.
To access this special Pokémon, trainers must enter the unique code '24MHABATAKUKAM1' within Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet.
The redemption process is straightforward:
- Start your Pokémon Scarlet or Violet game on Nintendo Switch.
- Ensure you have unlocked the Mystery Gift function by reaching the first Pokémon Center during your main story progression.
- Open the X menu and select 'Poke Portal.'
- Choose 'Mystery Gift,' then pick ‘Get with Code/Password.’
- Enter the code provided above, and the Flutter Mane will be delivered to your party or Pokémon Boxes.
- Don’t forget to manually save your game after receiving your gift to ensure it is stored securely.
This Mystery Gift campaign runs through June 22, 2025, giving players a full year to claim the reward.
The Pokémon Company has a long-standing tradition of celebrating notable competitive players and tournaments through in-game distributions, and this initiative adds another milestone to the ongoing support for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet — both of which continue to see success on the Nintendo Switch platform and in the global eShop rankings since their release in November 2022.
With competitive Pokémon play gaining more international visibility, commemorative events like this help foster an even stronger connection between the esports scene and the wider fan base.
According to the official distribution details shared by The Pokémon Company, trainers are encouraged to redeem their Flutter Mane before the June 2025 deadline to secure this championship tribute for their own teams.
