Most notably, this event is currently the only method to encounter a Shiny Gimmighoul in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, albeit with an exceptionally low appearance rate.

Fans seeking to complete their Shiny Pokédex should seize this limited-time opportunity. In addition to the Gimmighoul raid, The Pokémon Company has introduced a "Strike Gold" Mass Outbreak event offering increased Shiny rates on select yellow and gold-colored Pokémon.

During this event, players may come across more frequent outbreaks of Wiglett in the Paldea region, Growlithe in Kitakami, and Swablu within the Terarium.
