Pokemon Legends: Z-A User Icons Now Available on Nintendo Switch Online

Nintendo Switch Online Adds Pokemon Legends: Z-A User Icons for Switch Users Nintendo Switch Online has launched a new set of user icons celebrating Pokemon Legends: Z-A, giving players more ways to customize their profiles.

After a longer-than-expected wait, these official icons are now available via the Nintendo Switch Online service for both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 users. Expanding Personalization Options for Pokemon Fans Traditionally, Nintendo releases themed user icons on or near the debut of a major first-party game.

However, the launch of Pokemon Legends: Z-A icons arrived several months after the game’s initial features were introduced, with no icons added during the October release or the subsequent Mega Dimension DLC.

As of now, Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can redeem My Nintendo Platinum Points to unlock a variety of character icons and background designs inspired by Pokemon Legends: Z-A.

At launch, character icons are priced at 10 Platinum Points each, while backgrounds cost 5 Platinum Points, allowing users to remix and personalize their Switch profiles with iconic Pokemon and settings from the latest entry in the legendary series. Weekly Icon Updates Scheduled Through February 2026 In a boon for collectors and Pokemon fans, the selection of icons will expand over time.

Nintendo has confirmed that new Pokemon Legends: Z-A user icons will be added to the Switch Online service every Sunday, with European gamers seeing updates early on Monday morning.

This ongoing rollout is scheduled to continue until February 22, 2026, ensuring a steady stream of new customization options into the future. Players can access and redeem these icons via the Missions & Rewards section of Nintendo Switch Online on their console.

This program allows fans to use My Nintendo Platinum Points—earned through regular activity like playing games or completing simple tasks—to unlock the latest icon designs. For the latest updates on Nintendo Switch Online, including additional icon waves and other service features, users are encouraged to visit the official Nintendo news page or check the Switch eShop.

As the Pokemon Legends: Z-A icon collection grows, it’s an ideal time for fans to show off their enthusiasm for one of Nintendo’s flagship franchises.
