Pokémon HOME Adds Pokémon Legends: Z-A Compatibility and Limited-Time Alpha Pokémon Distribution

The Pokémon Company has officially expanded Pokémon HOME compatibility to include Pokémon Legends: Z-A, marking another milestone in the ever-evolving support for the franchise’s cloud-based storage app.

With this latest update, released after scheduled maintenance, players can now transfer Pokémon from the newly launched Pokémon Legends: Z-A directly into their Pokémon HOME accounts.

Pokémon HOME, available on Nintendo Switch and mobile devices, functions as a centralized hub for trainers to store and transfer their Pokémon across multiple official releases.

The integration of Pokémon Legends: Z-A into Pokémon HOME enables broader flexibility for the Pokémon community, continuing The Pokémon Company’s commitment to interconnectivity across generations and platforms.

To celebrate this expanded compatibility, The Pokémon Company is offering a limited-time distribution of specially marked Alpha Pokémon.

Players who deposit at least one Pokémon from Pokémon Legends: Z-A into Pokémon HOME will automatically become eligible to receive an exclusive set of Alpha Chikorita, Alpha Tepig, and Alpha Totodile.

These rewards are distributed via the Mystery Gift feature accessible through the Pokémon HOME mobile app.

Addressing the update, The Pokémon Company confirmed, “Following recent maintenance, support for Pokémon Legends: Z-A is now live.

Users who deposit a Pokémon from this title into Pokémon HOME can claim Alpha versions of Chikorita, Tepig, and Totodile through the Mystery Gift section in the mobile app.”

This distribution event underscores The Pokémon Company’s trend of offering event-exclusive Pokémon when rolling out functionality for new releases within the Pokémon HOME ecosystem.

Similar to previous promotions involving other mainline titles, this event incentivizes engagement with both the cloud-based app and the latest additions to the Pokémon series.

Pokémon HOME was first introduced in February 2020 as a means to unify storage and transfer capabilities for players across Nintendo Switch and compatible mobile devices.

Since launch, it has championed seamless interaction between classic favorites and new game titles, including Pokémon Sword and Shield, Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and now Pokémon Legends: Z-A.

Players eager to participate should ensure their Pokémon HOME app is updated to the latest version on their Nintendo Switch or mobile device.

Once a Pokémon from Pokémon Legends: Z-A has been deposited, the Alpha Pokémon can be redeemed via the Mystery Gift section on the mobile version of the app.

As always, The Pokémon Company continues to enrich the experience for dedicated trainers on the Nintendo Switch and beyond, delivering timely updates and exclusive rewards to support the ever-growing Pokémon community.
