Pokémon Center Mega Happy Holiday 2025: Event Dates, Merchandise, and Pokémon Legends Z-A Collaborations Announced

The Pokémon Company has officially unveiled the Pokémon Center Mega Happy Holiday campaign for 2025, marking the return of festive celebrations across Pokémon Center locations in Japan.

Running from December 6, 2025, through January 26, 2026, this ambitious event encompasses a range of in-store activities, themed collaborations, exclusive merchandise, and special incentives for fans.

The annual holiday campaign has become a staple for Pokémon enthusiasts, and this year’s festivities are set to extend their reach by tying in with the highly anticipated Pokémon Legends Z-A for Nintendo Switch. From the outset of the campaign, visitors to Japanese Pokémon Centers will have the opportunity to participate in meet and greet events featuring beloved Pikachu mascots in seasonal attire.

In particular, Santa Pikachu will make appearances from December 6 to December 25, providing a festive photo opportunity throughout the Christmas period.

Following this, Hakama Pikachu will greet fans between December 26, 2025, and January 25, 2026, celebrating the Japanese New Year with this culturally inspired costume. A highlight of this year’s Mega Happy Holiday campaign is its collaboration with Pokémon Legends Z-A.

To commemorate both the main game and its downloadable content (DLC), customers who purchase Pokémon Legends Z-A during the campaign will receive a limited-edition Mega Stone keychain.

Those who opt for the DLC unlock a collectible sticker sheet, further enhancing the draw for franchise collectors and Switch gamers alike. Board game enthusiasts will also have something to look forward to, as new Pokémon-themed tabletop games are set for release starting December 20.

These officially licensed products provide yet another way for fans to engage with their favorite Pokémon in a new and interactive format. In addition to physical events and merchandise, the campaign will offer exclusive Pokémon HOME Medals distributed to celebrate the season, rewarding fans who connect and engage with the broader Pokémon ecosystem.

Shoppers spending more than 4,000 yen at any Pokémon Center location will also receive a special Paper Gift Ribbon and a Lottery Sticker, offering further incentives for holiday purchases and building on the tradition of unique in-store experiences. A spokesperson from The Pokémon Company shared that the Mega Happy Holiday campaign aims to create lasting holiday memories for fans both young and old.

These events reinforce Pokémon Center’s role not only as a retail space but also as a hub for community-driven celebrations centered around Pokémons most iconic characters.

Whether you are collecting limited-edition Nintendo Switch merchandise or enjoying themed in-store events, the Pokémon Center Mega Happy Holiday 2025 campaign is positioned as a must-visit experience for fans in Japan. With seasonal exclusives, interactive meet-and-greets, and collaborations with the upcoming Pokémon Legends Z-A, this campaign continues The Pokémon Company's tradition of innovative, fan-focused initiatives.

The Pokémon Center Mega Happy Holiday 2025 promises to be a highlight of the shopping season and a celebration for Switch owners and collectors alike.
