Pokémon Center Birthday Distributions Announced for Japan: Exclusive Fidough and Audino to Celebrate
The Pokémon Company has officially announced its updated long-term birthday distribution campaign for fans visiting Pokémon Centers across Japan.
From November 1, 2025, through October 31, 2026, players celebrating their birthday month can receive special in-game gifts for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet and the highly anticipated Pokémon Legends: Z-A on the Nintendo Switch.
Since their inception, Pokémon Centers in Japan have served as more than retail spaces—they’re community hubs for trainers.
This new initiative is part of The Pokémon Company’s ongoing effort to enhance the player experience through exclusive events.
Starting this November, visitors who present their game at any Pokémon Center in Japan during their birthday month are eligible to receive a special distribution code.
This code will allow players to obtain Fidough in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet and Audino in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, both fan-favorite Pokémon celebrated for their unique traits in each game.
To participate, fans simply need to bring their Nintendo Switch and relevant game to the store, where Pokémon Center staff will verify the title and provide the necessary download code.
For those unable to visit in person, Fidough will also be accessible via Pokémon HOME, Nintendo’s cloud-based storage and trading system, while Audino will be made available to Pokémon Legends: Z-A players through a Wonder Card redeemable in-game at a later date.
Adding to the birthday celebration, The Pokémon Company is introducing a special commemorative Birthday Medal in Pokémon HOME.
Attendees who visit a Pokémon Center during their birthday month can acquire this exclusive medal, which features both Fidough and Audino.
This collectible recognizes player participation in the anniversary event, and further integrates the Pokémon HOME ecosystem with the latest mainline titles.
The Pokémon Company has a long-standing tradition of engaging its fanbase through region-specific events and distributions.
Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, released for Nintendo Switch in November 2022, has seen robust player engagement and strong sales, while the upcoming Pokémon Legends: Z-A is poised to continue the franchise’s success on the platform.
Initiatives such as the birthday distribution highlight the company’s commitment to rewarding dedicated players and supporting its thriving community through innovative use of the Nintendo eShop, in-person activations, and cross-game bonuses.
For a full list of participating Pokémon Centers and further details on the distribution process, fans are encouraged to visit the official Pokémon Center website or follow updates from The Pokémon Company.
This birthday campaign is a testament to the enduring appeal of the Pokémon franchise and its ability to create memorable experiences for trainers young and old across Japan.
