The collaboration with The Pokémon Company is scheduled to appear in select countries in November and will expand month-by-month until the United Kingdom and Ireland receive the promotion in February 2027.
According to McDonald's official announcement, the Happy Meals will be offered in three distinct box designs featuring Pikachu, Umbreon and Torchic.
Each box will include one of the themed box-shaped Pokémon toys and two cards drawn from a 15-card selection that includes seven holo cards.
McDonald's noted the promotion will run while stocks last.

Earlier reporting from PokéBeach had indicated a United States window between 5 November and 9 December and described Happy Meal tie-ins as typically containing multi-card packs; that report preceded McDonald's global confirmation.
McDonald's official materials specify the two-card format for this worldwide promotion.
Past McDonald's Pokémon Happy Meal promotions have at times prompted operational changes; previous tie-ins led to purchase limits and, in some markets, early endings after demand spiked and secondary-market activity increased.
Last year, McDonald's Japan experienced a sell-out tied to a special Pikachu card in one regional promotion.
The Pokémon franchise remains a major cross-media property closely associated with The Pokémon Company and platforms including Nintendo Switch.
This promotion is part of ongoing merchandising activity around the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), which continues to attract collectors and younger fans alike.
For collectors and parents planning visits, McDonald's reiterates that availability will vary by location and the promotion will continue only while supplies last.
