Pokémon Fans Invited to Experience Alolan Luxury at Grand Hyatt Tokyo
The Pokémon franchise has long been known for creative collaborations worldwide, but this summer brings one of the most immersive experiences yet to downtown Tokyo.
The Grand Hyatt Tokyo is partnering with The Pokémon Company to offer a unique Pokémon-themed stay, bringing the atmosphere of an Alolan beach resort directly into one of Japan’s most prestigious hotels.
With two distinct room options, this partnership offers guests both the elegance of a luxury hotel and the playful magic that Pokémon fans have cherished for decades.
The highlight of this collaboration is the Pokémon Beach Resort Suite, a spacious accommodation decked out with exclusive décor and amenities inspired by the tropical Alola region from Pokémon Sun and Moon.
Guests can expect immersive visuals, themed bedding, and a selection of exclusive Pokémon merchandise to take home, making this more than just a night’s stay—it’s an unforgettable memory for families and enthusiasts alike.
A spokesperson for the Grand Hyatt Tokyo described the collaboration as 'a fresh way to bring the vibrant world of Pokémon and the relaxing ambiance of the islands to the heart of the city.' In conjunction with The Pokémon Company, the hotel designed each element with attention to detail, ensuring authenticity and comfort for every guest.
The Pokémon-themed rooms are available exclusively through this collaboration and are set to run for a limited period, with bookings available via the official Grand Hyatt Tokyo website and select travel partners.
Both packages will offer special experiences and commemorative goods, cultivated for both children and dedicated collectors.
Over recent years, similar collaborations have become increasingly popular among Pokémon fans, signifying the brand’s ongoing cultural influence and appeal beyond video games and trading cards.
This latest initiative follows a series of successful cross-industry partnerships orchestrated by The Pokémon Company, which includes pop-up Pokémon Cafés, themed eShop releases, and real-world experiences at major events in Tokyo and abroad.
The Grand Hyatt Tokyo’s participation demonstrates the widespread demand for branded hospitality, as well as a renewed interest in immersive, fandom-driven travel and leisure.
Pokémon-themed rooms at Grand Hyatt Tokyo are scheduled to become available starting April 16th, 2025.
Early reservation is encouraged due to expected high demand among international visitors as well as domestic fans.
For further information or to make a reservation, visitors can consult both the Grand Hyatt Tokyo's official site and The Pokémon Company’s dedicated event page.
With this partnership, living like an Alolan Trainer in the heart of Tokyo is no longer just a dream.
