Super Mario Party Jamboree Announced for Nintendo Switch: Release Date, Features, and Everything We Know

Nintendo has officially announced Super Mario Party Jamboree, the latest installment in its long-running Mario Party series, set to launch for Nintendo Switch on October 17, 2024.

According to Nintendo's official announcement, the game will feature seven different game boards—five brand new boards alongside two beloved classics from previous Mario Party titles.

Notable new locales include Rainbow Galleria with its moving escalators, the dynamic tracks of Roll ’em Raceway, and the unpredictable Goomba Lagoon centered around an active volcano. An unprecedented roster of over 110 minigames sets a new series record, highlighting Nintendo’s commitment to innovation within the party game genre.

Players can look forward to a wide array of challenges, ranging from action-packed competitions to cerebral puzzles and even several minigames utilizing the Nintendo Switch’s motion controls. Online multiplayer support also makes a significant leap in Super Mario Party Jamboree.

The new Koopathlon mode enables up to 20 players to compete online, representing the most substantial expansion of online functionality in the series’ history.
