Wonder originally debuted for the Nintendo Switch in 2023, but this latest iteration brings fresh content to Nintendo’s next-generation hardware. The newly released trailer, currently available exclusively on the Nintendo Today! app, spotlights several innovative features coming to the Switch 2 Edition.

Notably, players can look forward to the debut of Game Room Plaza, a vibrant multiplayer hub supporting up to 12 participants both locally and online.

This zone features six unique attraction minigames, expanding Wonder’s multiplayer appeal and offering fans new ways to enjoy the Mario universe. Returning fan favorites, the Toad Brigade, are showcased in a new area called Camp Central.

Players can refine their platforming prowess here by taking on training challenges, earning in-game patches, and increasing their Brigade ranking.

These additions focus on both individual skill-building and cooperative play, aligning with Nintendo’s ongoing efforts to foster community engagement on the Nintendo Switch 2. The trailer also provides another glimpse of the infamous Koopalings, who have stolen the Bellabel Flowers and dispersed them across the game map.

Retriever collectors and completionists alike will need to locate these scattered flowers as they progress through various levels. One of the standout reveals is that Rosalina will join the cast as a fully playable character in the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.

In co-op mode, her signature ally, Luma, can also be directly controlled, further enriching the multiplayer experience.

Additionally, a new Mouse Mode allows for alternative control schemes, catering to different play styles. The video concludes with the exciting announcement of three brand-new Wonder amiibo figures launching alongside the Switch 2 Edition on March 26th.

The amiibo, which include beloved characters such as Prince Florian, will be available for purchase on the same day, enhancing both gameplay and collectibility for dedicated fans. Nintendo continues to update players with more details as release day approaches, promising to share the full trailer online soon.

With expanded multiplayer options, new playable characters, and collectible amiibo, Super Mario Bros.
