Acclaimed Swedish indie developer Simogo has officially unveiled the Simogo Legacy Collection, a meticulously curated compilation featuring the studio’s seminal first seven titles.

Set to launch for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch on December 2, 2024, the collection represents the long-anticipated console debut for these beloved indie classics, previously available only on mobile platforms.

Founded in 2010, Simogo quickly established itself as a leader in innovative game design, earning international recognition with narrative-driven experiences that challenge traditional genre boundaries.

The Simogo Legacy Collection provides a comprehensive look at the studio’s formative years, expertly preserving each title’s original charm while optimizing them for Nintendo’s popular platforms.

This release marks a significant milestone for both the developer and fans, bridging the gap between mobile gaming heritage and contemporary console play. Included in the Simogo Legacy Collection are the studio’s foundational works: Kosmo Spin, Bumpy Road, Beat Sneak Bandit, Year Walk (along with the Year Walk Companion), DEVICE 6, The Sailor’s Dream, and SPL-T.

These games—first launched between 2010 and 2015—have collectively sold over 1.5 million copies, underscoring their critical and commercial success.

Several titles in the compilation have earned prestigious honors, including accolades from the Independent Games Festival, Apple Design Awards, as well as nominations for the coveted BAFTA and Game Developers Choice Awards. Beyond the core games, the collection goes a step further with an impressive suite of bonus content.

This includes an e-book titled "Year Walk Bedtime Stories for Awful Children," the audio drama podcast "The Lighthouse Painting," a comprehensive gallery of illustrations, a selection of both released and previously unheard music tracks, as well as playable prototypes for Year Walk, Bumpy Road, Rollovski, and the short story experience The Sensational December Machine.
