Nintendo has officially announced the upcoming 'Shining Resolve' banner for Fire Emblem Heroes, scheduled to launch globally on August 15, 2025.
The new banner is set to introduce special units inspired by the top winners of the most recent Choose Your Legends (CYL) fan poll, a highly anticipated event among the tactical RPG's dedicated community.
Fire Emblem Heroes, developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo, has been a staple on iOS and Android devices since its release in February 2017.
The title continues to receive regular content updates, blending classic Fire Emblem gameplay with new features tailored for mobile audiences.
With over 20 million downloads and consistent placement on top-grossing charts, Fire Emblem Heroes remains one of Nintendo’s most successful mobile projects.
The new 'Shining Resolve' banner includes four limited-time units, each reimagined as unique variants to celebrate their victory in the latest Choose Your Legends poll.
The featured heroes are:
- Byleth (Male): Anchor of Hope
- Baldr: Rays Of Judgment
- Eikþyrnir: Resolved To Train
- Sharena: Hopeful Princess
Accompanying the banner, a brand-new story chapter titled 'Truth & Justice' will go live alongside the unit releases, expanding the game’s ongoing narrative.
Nintendo showcased a new trailer revealing the exclusive skills, artwork, and voice lines for each featured hero, consistent with the developer’s ongoing commitment to quality character design and storytelling.
In an official statement, Nintendo emphasized its appreciation for community engagement, highlighting how the annual Choose Your Legends event allows fans to directly influence which characters receive special in-game recognition.
This year’s winners reflect the diverse interests of the Fire Emblem fanbase, and the developer reaffirmed their dedication to maintaining direct communication with players.
The 'Shining Resolve' banner will be available for summoning in Fire Emblem Heroes starting August 15, 2025, accessible via the App Store and Google Play.
Players are encouraged to stay tuned to official Nintendo channels for additional updates, including unit stat breakdowns and detailed event schedules.
