Security researchers and dataminers working off newly reported methods for extracting assets from Nintendo Switch 2 system dumps have posted findings that fans are parsing for clues about upcoming DLC and unused game assets.
The developer behind the Fire Emblem franchise entry remains Intelligent Systems, and Nintendo is the platform holder distributing the game via the Nintendo eShop.
Datamine coverage has been aggregated on social channels.
Researcher Aveyn_Knight posted primary findings on X, and those notes were compiled and summarized by fellow dataminer Lerkpots for wider community review.
In journalistic terms: Aveyn_Knight published the initial asset list on X, and Lerkpots provided a consolidated roundup for the Fire Emblem community.
What the community has reported
- DLC lords appear to have individual obelisks with unique themes, and files reference glowing portraits that unlock after players complete Part 2 content.
These references are present in the extracted asset and UI data sets but have not been confirmed by Nintendo or Intelligent Systems.
- Several datamined audio tracks reportedly correspond to obelisk themes; community commenters on the Fire Emblem subreddit identified matching OST files in the extracted assets.
- One new item string appears as "Diadem of Sagacity." Another asset reference mentions a "Crest of Macuil," an item name that originally appears in Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
- UI strings referencing completion on a difficulty labeled "Maddening Mode" exist in the dumped files.
Roster, costume, and support data
The datamine lists a number of characters present in internal roster menus that do not currently appear in the live playable roster.
Names extracted from the files include Chiara, Churness, Credna, Cleobulus, Gladius, Jurah, Kalla, Myson, Nomved, Smyrnos, and Suarez.
Separate costume and support data sets include Cleobulus, Credna, Gladius, Kalla, Mars, and Myson; support files additionally reference Anna.
Notably, one character, Orche, is flagged in the data as lacking a Part 2 entry at present — an omission the files record but do not explain.
Related datamines
Community discussion also referenced a recent Pokopia datamine for the Pokemon franchise that reportedly surfaced a DLC 2 lineup; those Pokemon findings are separate and pertain to a different Nintendo-published title.
Caveats and next steps
All items described above come from community datamines and third-party posts and are not official confirmations from Nintendo or Intelligent Systems.
Datamine results can reflect unused, placeholder, or in-progress assets, and the publisher may change or remove content prior to any formal DLC releases.
Fans should await official details via Nintendo Direct, official Nintendo channels, or Intelligent Systems statements for confirmed DLC information.
