Kyoto Marathon 2026 to Feature Mario as Official Mascot Nintendo is also extending its 40th anniversary celebrations into the wider community by sponsoring the Kyoto Marathon 2026.

In a playful tribute, Mario himself will make an appearance to support participants.

Each marathon runner will don a special race bib showcasing the Nintendo logo, blending athletic achievement with the playful spirit that defines the Super Mario franchise.
