H2 Interactive and Moss have officially announced the Raiden Fighters Remix Collection for Nintendo Switch, with a release date set for February 26, 2026.

This definitive package celebrates the legendary Raiden Fighters series, giving both long-time fans and newcomers access to one of the most iconic shooting game trilogies in arcade history, now fully optimized and expanded for modern platforms. The Raiden Fighters series originally launched in arcades during the late 1990s, capturing the attention of gamers worldwide with its fast-paced gameplay, distinct pixel art, and immersive sound design.

Over the decades, the series has become a pillar of the shoot-'em-up (shmup) genre, renowned for its intricate scoring mechanics and challenging stages.

The new Raiden Fighters Remix Collection marks the franchise’s return to home consoles—overcoming the technical challenges that once made a faithful remake seem impossible. Comprising both the Japanese and international versions of all three mainline titles—Raiden Fighters, Raiden Fighters 2, and Raiden Fighters Jet—the Raiden Fighters Remix Collection offers a total of six unique versions.

These editions feature variations in language, stage layout, and design, delivering fresh experiences and replay value to both global and domestic audiences.

Each game in the trilogy can be purchased individually on the Nintendo Online Store or PlayStation Store, or as part of the comprehensive Raiden Fighters Remix Collection bundle.

Additionally, users can personalize in-game audio with stage-specific background music, including a newly remixed soundtrack featuring 30 tracks from prominent composers Soshi Hosoi, Yuki Arai, and Kazushi Tsurukubo.

Hosoi and Tsurukubo are acclaimed for their work on prior Raiden projects, while Arai brings a fresh touch, expanding the musical legacy of the franchise. Building on decades of global acclaim, the Raiden Fighters Remix Collection delivers both the depth that series veterans expect and the modern conveniences needed to welcome new players to the genre.
