MOSS has outlined a two-part patch plan for Raiden Fighters Remix Collection following widespread player complaints about frame rate and presentation issues after the collection's February 26, 2026 release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
The pack, which includes Raiden Fighters, Raiden Fighters 2 and Raiden Fighters Jet (each offered in Japanese and International variants) and a remixed 30-track soundtrack, drew criticism for running at 60fps instead of the arcade original's 54fps and for limited visual and audio options.
In an official statement published by MOSS and attributed to Representative Director Toshinobu Komazawa, the company acknowledged reports that the collection’s gameplay framerate differs from the original arcade versions and apologized to customers who experienced the issue.
MOSS confirmed the arcade originals run at 54 frames per second, while the current release operates at 60fps, producing an approximate 1.1x increase in game speed that can materially affect gameplay.
MOSS said it will deploy fixes in two phases.
The first update, planned for late May, will add an optional 54fps mode alongside the existing 60fps mode and include a selection of bug fixes.
The developer emphasized that both modes will remain available to players but noted that the two modes will share a single leaderboard.
Details of the second update were not specified; MOSS stated that further information will be provided when distribution of the next patch begins.
The company also said it will report progress regularly on its official website and on X (formerly Twitter).
