Fire Emblem Heroes Book X Update Launches with New Story, Heroes, and Celebratory Events on Mobile

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have heralded a major content expansion for Fire Emblem Heroes, the critically acclaimed tactical RPG available on iOS and Android devices.

The newly released Book X update introduces expansive story chapters, a roster of new Heroes, and a packed schedule of celebratory in-game events, inviting both veteran and new players to experience the latest chapter in the mobile saga. Unveiled via the official Feh Channel presentation, the Book X update transports players to the icy realm of Nifl, which now faces the relentless threat of Fimbulvetr, the winter of annihilation, signaling the twilight of the gods, Ragnarök.

In the opening moments of Book X, players join Alfonse—now empowered by the spirit of Askr, the Divine Dragon—and Princess Fjorm of Nifl as they confront this existential peril.

Nintendo emphasizes that all players, whether newcomers or longtime fans, can access the new Book X storyline immediately, even if they have not completed prior chapters. "We wanted everyone in the Fire Emblem Heroes community to experience the start of Book X without barriers," Nintendo highlights in its update overview.
