Fire Emblem Heroes Book X Update Adds New Story Content and Heroes for iOS and Android

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have rolled out an exciting update for Fire Emblem Heroes, the acclaimed mobile strategy RPG available for iOS and Android.

Launched globally in 2017, Fire Emblem Heroes has continually expanded with major story chapters and commemorative in-game events.

The newly released Book X update marks the next chapter in the game’s evolving narrative, accompanied by new Heroes, fresh event challenges, and enhanced gameplay features. In Book X, players confront Fimbulvetr, the legendary winter of annihilation, which has descended upon the icy kingdom of Nifl.

This chilling calamity, inspired by Norse mythology’s Ragnarök, threatens every corner of the realm.

Summoners, joined by Princess Fjorm of Nifl and Alfonse, the bearer of Askr's divine power, will stand against this formidable threat and embark on a quest to preserve their world. In a statement from the development team, Nintendo and Intelligent Systems emphasized the accessibility of this new content: "Players can immediately dive into Book X’s storyline, regardless of whether they’ve completed previous story arcs.

Experience the latest chapter and save the realms from impending doom." To celebrate the launch, a Book X Begins Celebration event is underway.

By clearing Book X, Chapter 1 on Normal difficulty, every player unlocks the special Chosen Hero Alfonse.
