Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Announce Roaring Moon and Iron Valiant 7-Star Tera Raid Event

Nintendo has officially unveiled the next Tera Raid Battle event for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, inviting players to challenge Roaring Moon and Iron Valiant in high-difficulty 7-Star Raids.

This event, running exclusively on the Nintendo Switch from October 3 to October 12, offers trainers the opportunity to capture these powerful and elusive Pokemon, each featuring a unique Tera Type and the prestigious Mightiest Mark. Pokemon Scarlet players will encounter Roaring Moon in 7-Star Raids, where it will possess the Dragon Tera Type.

In contrast, Pokemon Violet users will face Iron Valiant, which appears in Raids with the Fairy Tera Type.

Both Pokemon are limited to one catch per save file during the event, ensuring their exclusivity and value for collectors and competitive battlers alike. Tera Raid Battles allow up to four trainers to team up and take on formidable Pokemon using strategic team composition and cooperation.

These raids, first introduced in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, have become a popular feature since the games’ launch on November 18, 2022.

The dynamic Raid system not only offers rare rewards but often spotlights Pokemon with special Tera Types unavailable through normal gameplay. To participate, players need to ensure their Nintendo Switch is online, though a Nintendo Switch Online subscription is not required for this specific activity.

The necessary Raid data is automatically distributed via the Poke Portal News.
