Giants Software, renowned for its chart-topping Farming Simulator series, has revealed the physical release of Farming Simulator 16-Bit for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis.

Following a well-received trailer premiere on the developer’s official YouTube channel, fans can now pre-order this retro-inspired demake from the online retailer Strictly Limited Games.

First unveiled as a surprise bonus for the Collector's Edition of Farming Simulator 2025 on PC, Farming Simulator 16-Bit returns players to the pixel-rich era of 16-bit consoles.

Giants Software has handcrafted detailed pixel-art graphics and implemented digitized sound effects, delivering a nostalgic experience aimed at both long-time farming sim enthusiasts and retro gaming collectors.

The game's soundtrack comes courtesy of Christopher Hülsbeck, celebrated composer best known for his work on the iconic Turrican series, further enhancing its vintage credentials. Farming Simulator 16-Bit initially sparked curiosity within the gaming community, with some mistaking its announcement for an elaborate prank.
