The 30th Celebration expansion is scheduled to arrive in stores on September 16, 2026.
The Pokémon Company International, which handles Western marketing and distribution for the brand founded by Nintendo, Game Freak and Creatures, issued a press release outlining multiple boxed and collectible product formats aimed at both players and collectors.
According to the press release, the 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box will include nine 30th Celebration booster packs, an illustration-rare–style promo card featuring Nidorina, and a selection of gameplay accessories.
The 30th Celebration Poster Collection bundles three 30th Celebration booster packs with three promo cards featuring the legendary birds Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres, plus a full-size two-sided poster displaying cards from the expansion.
The 30th Celebration Tech Sticker Collection pairs three booster packs with a foil promo card featuring either Alolan Exeggutor or Lucario and a sticker sheet designed for laptops, tablets and other devices.
For collectors of oversized or alternate-card treatments, the 30th Celebration Pokémon ex Box contains four 30th Celebration booster packs, a promo card that will be either Sylveon ex or Greninja ex, and a corresponding oversize card.
The lineup also includes a 30th Celebration Knock Out Collection that ships with two 30th Celebration booster packs, a foil promo card featuring Eevee and a commemorative coin.
The announcement focuses on physical trading-card products; however, Pokémon’s video-game catalog and milestone announcements continue to be closely tied to Nintendo platforms.
Historically, major Pokémon game reveals have appeared on Nintendo Direct presentations and core Pokémon titles are primarily released for Nintendo Switch and distributed on the Nintendo eShop.
The September 16, 2026 release brings a range of options for players and collectors, from sealed booster packs to boxed sets and oversized promo cards.
Retailers and fans can expect the listed configurations and promo-card pairings as described by The Pokémon Company International’s press materials.
