Argonaut Games intervenes in Croc Legend of the Gobbos Collector's Edition fulfillment after prolonged Rock It Games delays

Argonaut Games has announced it is directly coordinating fulfillment for the Collector's Editions of Croc Legend of the Gobbos after an extended period of shipping delays from publisher Rock It Games.

The title's physical Collector's Edition for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 first went on sale in October 2024 alongside standard editions and was priced at $129.99.

The boxed Collector's Edition was advertised to include a copy of the game, a full-color manual, a 4-CD soundtrack, a resin Croc statue, a keychain, a poster, and a sticker sheet.

Original delivery windows targeted sometime in 2025, but Rock It Games repeatedly pushed back physical shipments throughout 2025 and into 2026.

The publisher attributed the delays to a mixture of growing pains, complications around tariffs affecting shipping, problems with the Croc statue production, and extended mastering work after Argonaut and Rock It agreed to upgrade physical runs to the expanded 2025 Platinum Edition.

The delays generated sustained customer complaints directed at Rock It Games' social channels and prompted inquiries toward Argonaut.

The developer publicly clarified that it licensed the game to Rock It Games for physical production and was not the publisher of those editions, while also saying it continued to press Rock It privately to resolve outstanding issues.

Standard Platinum Edition shipments began in July 2026.

In a September 12, 2026 blog update, Rock It confirmed that the majority of Standard Edition preorders, both domestic and international, had shipped, and that Collector's Editions had only just begun shipping that month.

Rock It stated that with significant assistance from Argonaut, remaining logistics, packaging, and Collector's Edition construction problems had been resolved and that finished units were ready to ship.

The publisher also said standard orders placed between June and October 2026 were now moving forward in a final distribution push.

Argonaut posted on Twitter/X that it had stepped in to manage the Collector's Edition situation directly and was coordinating with the logistics provider to ensure every Collector's Edition preorder ships.

The developer requested customers share shipping notifications to help track fulfillment and reminded buyers to send preorder inquiries to Rock It Games.

For customers awaiting physical copies, the most recent updates indicate that shipments of both Standard Platinum and Collector's Editions are actively being dispatched following Argonaut and Rock It Games' joint efforts to clear the backlog.
