How the tool works
N64 SwapDumper runs from a flash cart that has an accessible SD card.
The application reads the largest contiguous chunk of the target cartridge into the flash cart’s RAM when the target cartridge is temporarily inserted.
The user then swaps the flash cart back into the system and instructs the tool to write that RAM chunk to the SD card.
Repeating this swap-and-save loop gradually copies the entire ROM image or the cartridge save data to the SD card.
