IO Interactive has announced a new Elusive Target for Hitman: World of Assassination titled "The Herbalist," introducing Dr. Cyrus Cane — a target modeled on and featuring voice work by rap icon Snoop Dogg.
The mission will run from 27 August to 26 September 2026 and is staged on the Haven Island location within the World of Assassination platform.
Current owners of Hitman: World of Assassination can access the Elusive Target for free while it is available.
Elusive Targets are time-limited contracts first introduced in 2016’s Hitman; they provide single-attempt, high-stakes missions that expire after a short window.
IO Interactive’s World of Assassination framework continues to add these curated experiences as part of its live-service approach to the Hitman trilogy.
In addition to the free one-month availability, IO Interactive will release a paid cosmetic and content bundle called the "Herbalist Pack" on 4 September 2026, priced at $7.99/€7.99/£6.99.

The studio’s approach preserves the franchise’s signature sandbox stealth gameplay while providing recurring live events for players across platforms.
Commenting on his involvement, Snoop Dogg expressed appreciation for joining the Hitman franchise and highlighted the collaborative nature of the mission.
He said he was honored to appear in a major franchise, enjoyed working with IO Interactive on the mission, appreciated bringing his son Cordell into the project, and challenged players to demonstrate style when facing Dr. Cyrus Cane.
