Nintendo has scheduled a special Treehouse broadcast to coincide with Pikmin Day that will spotlight Pikmin 4 - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Dandori Academy and provide advance hands-on coverage ahead of the game's November 12, 2026 release.
The live presentation is part of Nintendo’s ongoing support for the Pikmin franchise and will be available on Nintendo’s official YouTube channel for on-demand viewing.
The company invited fans to tune in to the Treehouse presentation, saying the broadcast would be available on YouTube on Nov. 1 at 9 a.m.
PT.
The Treehouse session is intended to give players a closer look at the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of Pikmin 4 and the new Dandori Academy mode, showing gameplay and mechanics before launch.
Broadcast schedule (local times):
- North America: 9am PST / 10am MST / 11am CST / 12pm EST
- UK/Ireland: 5pm GMT
- Europe: 6pm CET / 7pm EET
- Asia/Oceania: 2am (Mon) JST / 1am (Mon) AWST / 4am (Mon) AEDT
Update: As of Nov. 1, 2026 at 5pm GMT, Nintendo has uploaded the Pikmin 4 - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Dandori Academy Treehouse broadcast to its official YouTube channel, making the session available on demand for viewers who missed the live presentation.
Alongside the Treehouse broadcast, Nintendo is releasing a free demo for Pikmin 4's Switch 2 Edition.
The preview grants access to the game’s opening area and two stages of the Dandori Academy, and it supports transferring demo save data to the full game.
This allows players who try the demo to continue progress after purchasing the complete release.
Pikmin 4 originally launched on Nintendo Switch and the new Nintendo Switch 2 Edition brings platform-specific updates for Nintendo’s next-generation hardware.
Nintendo has used Treehouse broadcasts and Nintendo Direct presentations to highlight gameplay features and provide developer commentary, and this Pikmin Day event follows that pattern by focusing on hands-on demonstration.
For players preparing to jump into Pikmin 4 on November 12, 2026, the Treehouse broadcast and accompanying demo offer an early, official look at Dandori Academy and the Switch 2 Edition’s presentation.
Watch the uploaded broadcast on Nintendo’s YouTube channel and download the free demo to test the opening chapters and academy stages before launch.
