BeXide’s Namco Legendary Mountains launches on iOS and Android today, bringing the developer’s voxel-based puzzle design to mobile platforms after the game’s PC and Nintendo Switch debut in June.

The title blends classic Namco characters with physics-driven stacking mechanics, offering a compact, arcade-flavored experience designed for touchscreens as well as traditional controllers.

BeXide frames Namco Legendary Mountains as a colorful “physics-stacker” in which players drop capsule spheres into a shallow bowl; each capsule contains a small voxel model of an iconic Namco arcade character.

Players must merge matching characters to form chains and free space in the play area, while managing balance and inertia to prevent the growing stack from toppling over the bowl’s rim.

The result is a tile-puzzle structure combined with real-time physics influence on the pieces.

The game’s core gameplay concept is adapted from the puzzle format used in Suika, replacing Suika’s fruit pieces with 3D voxel figures from Namco’s coin-op era.

Confirmed character models include figures inspired by Dig Dug, Mappy, Xevious, The Tower of Druaga, and Pac-Man.

As players complete in-game challenges, they unlock full 3D models of these characters to display in personal digital dioramas included in the game’s collection features.

A developer-released trailer demonstrates the stacking and merging mechanics and includes a flashing imagery warning for viewers.

BeXide’s announcement emphasizes the visual charm of the voxel figures and the tactile nature of the physics interactions as central to the experience.

Namco Legendary Mountains is available now on iOS and Android, and remains playable on PC and Nintendo Switch following its June release.

The mobile rollout widens access to BeXide’s puzzle design and brings Namco’s retro roster to a new set of devices.

For players seeking a portable puzzle with classic arcade aesthetics, the mobile release provides a straightforward way to try the game on phones and tablets.
