The appearance coincides with a broader event window for Pikmin Bloom’s Japan Matsuri Party Walk, which runs from September 28 to October 7, and gives mobile players a chance to collect exclusive in-game items tied to the festival.
Pikmin Bloom is a walking app developed by Niantic in collaboration with Nintendo and launched in October 2021.
