Blaze Entertainment has announced Tomb Raider Collection 2 for the Evercade family of systems, bundling two late-1990s/early-2000s Tomb Raider titles for cartridge-based play.
The collection includes Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation and Tomb Raider: Chronicles, both previously released on PlayStation (PS1) and PC.
Blaze says the compilation is being released in partnership with Crystal Dynamics and will be available to pre-order from 25 February 2025, with a retail release planned for April 2025.
Both included games are presented in their 32-bit forms for Evercade hardware.
According to Blaze, each title emphasizes environmental puzzles, third-person shooting mechanics and the series’ signature level design.
The publisher also confirmed a notable addition to The Last Revelation: a rare bonus level originally distributed as a standalone PC download via The Times newspaper in 2000.
Blaze explained that the Times bonus level, set in an Egyptian tomb, has been carefully converted for inclusion in the cartridge and can be accessed from The Last Revelation’s in-game menu.
The company says this marks the first time the level will be playable in 32-bit form on a cartridge release of the game.
Blaze Entertainment’s chief executive, Andrew Byatt, described the release as an opportunity to continue the company’s collaboration with Crystal Dynamics and to give fans another chance to experience classic Lara Croft adventures.
Byatt added that including the rare Times bonus level was intended as a special offering for Evercade collectors and Tomb Raider enthusiasts.
Tomb Raider Collection 2 will be sold as an Evercade cartridge and is priced at £24.99 / $29.99 / €29.99.
Pre-orders open on 25 February 2025 and the cartridge ships in April 2025.
The announcement follows Blaze’s ongoing strategy of republishing retro and licensed collections for the Evercade platform, which remains focused on physical cartridge releases and handheld/console compatibility within the Evercade family.
