Neo Turf Masters on Neo Geo+ AES: Scotland Course Included in Plaion and SNK Reissue

Plaion and SNK have confirmed that Neo Turf Masters (also released as Big Tournament Golf) will appear as part of the Neo Geo+ AES physical reissue lineup, with the historic Scotland course included for the first time on AES hardware.

The reissue is part of a 10-title physical roster tied to the Neo Geo+ AES project, a modern recreation of SNK's original AES super-console that aims to bring classic Neo Geo experiences to collectors and retro gamers.

Neo Turf Masters is widely regarded as one of the finest arcade golf simulations from SNK's library.

The new Neo Geo+ AES edition ships on 12 November 2026 and is priced at £69.99.

Plaion has stated the version included in this run contains additional course content beyond the original MVS/AES release.

Plaion notes that players will be able to choose from a roster of international golfers and compete across courses located in the USA, Japan, Germany and Australia, and that, for the first time on AES hardware, the Scotland course is also included.

This wording confirms that Scotland—previously exclusive to the Neo Geo CD version—has been integrated into the Neo Geo+ AES build without removing the Australian course, addressing a limitation seen in an earlier unofficial community patch that had replaced the Australian course to add Scotland.

That community patch, reported last week, unlocked the Scotland course in MVS/AES ROMs by modifying game data originally present only on the Neo Geo CD release.

Plaion's official reissue takes a different approach: the Neo Geo+ edition ships with Scotland incorporated as a native selection alongside the existing international courses, according to the publisher's product description.

The Neo Geo+ AES project is notable for bringing physical Neo Geo releases back to collectors in a modernized package, and the inclusion of Neo Turf Masters with its expanded course list will be a highlight for fans of SNK's sports catalog.

With a firm release date and retail price now public, collectors and retro enthusiasts can prepare for the November launch and evaluate pre-order and retail availability through Plaion's official channels and retailers handling Neo Geo+ AES stock.
