Splatoon 3's annual Splatoween Splatfest has concluded with Team Zombie, led by in-game idol Shiver, claiming victory over the competition for 2025.
Hosted exclusively on the Nintendo Switch platform, Splatoween remains one of the most anticipated seasonal events in the Splatoon community, bringing together millions of players for themed matches, exclusive rewards, and a chance to participate in one of Nintendo's most inventive multiplayer showdowns.
The 2025 Splatoween event ran from October 25th to 26th, with players around the world vying for supremacy as part of three Halloween-inspired teams: Zombie, Skeleton, and Ghost.
After an intense weekend of Turf War battles, Team Zombie clinched first place with an impressive 455 points.
Team Ghost, with Big Man as its mascot, followed in second with 295 points, while Frye's Team Skeleton rounded out the leaderboard with 120 points.
Following the results, a Splatoon 3 spokesperson highlighted the spirit of friendly competition and congratulated all participants.
Every player who took part in Splatoween 2025 can now claim their Super Sea Snails, a valuable in-game reward that can be redeemed for gear upgrades via the eShop, ensuring everyone walks away a winner regardless of their team’s final standing.
Regional start times for the event were staggered to accommodate the global Splatoon 3 community, with kickoff times including 7pm PDT in North America, 3am BST for the United Kingdom and Ireland, 4am CEST across Europe, and 11am JST in Asia.
This ensured maximum player participation and engagement throughout the duration of the Splatfest.
Splatoon 3 has maintained its reputation as a top-selling Nintendo Switch title since its release, consistently featuring post-launch seasonal events such as Splatfests and Frosty Fest.
While the cadence of Splatfests has slowed compared to previous entries, each event sees strong participation and robust social engagement.
Splatoween, which first introduced its monster-themed team rivalry in 2023, has become a fan-favorite tradition each autumn.
Players are now eagerly anticipating the next major seasonal event, with many continuing to practice and strategize in anticipation of future Splatfests.
For those who missed out on Splatoween 2025, the countdown is already on for the upcoming winter Frosty Fest.
Splatoon 3 remains available exclusively for Nintendo Switch, with updates and upcoming Splatfests detailed via Nintendo Direct presentations and on the official Nintendo website.
Stay tuned for further announcements as the next wave of competitive turf wars approaches.
