Nintendo of America has confirmed the Splatoon 3 Golden Egg Feast 2026, a one-day Salmon Run tournament for Splatoon 3 on Nintendo Switch.
The event is scheduled for November 7, 2026, with finals running from 10:00 AM PT to 12:00 PM PT.
Splatoon 3, developed by Nintendo EPD and released in 2022, remains exclusive to Nintendo Switch and is playable via the console and the Nintendo eShop.
Registration and eligibility
Registration opens at 9:00 AM PT on October 26, 2026 and closes at 9:30 AM PT on November 7, 2026.
Entrants must register through the Tournament Manager in the SplatNet 3 application available in the Nintendo Switch App for smart devices.
Players may enter Solo, Pair, Trio, or Team divisions (one- to four-player groups).
Nintendo clarifies that no purchase is necessary to enter or win; eligible entrants must be legal residents of the 50 U.S. states (including D.C.), Canada or Mexico, meet minimum age requirements (13+ in the U.S. and Canada, 18+ in Mexico), and have a Nintendo Switch, Splatoon 3, a Nintendo Account, and Nintendo Switch Online access during the Tournament.
Format and scoring
The Golden Egg Feast finals will follow Salmon Run Top Score rules in a 120-minute session.
Players can play as many shifts as possible during the Tournament period; scoring combines the most Golden Eggs collected across four cleared shifts and the most scale points in a single shift.
Shifts that end in defeat subtract points based on the wave of defeat: -30 for wave 1, -10 for wave 2, and -5 for wave 3.
Tiebreakers are decided by Golden Eggs collected, Power Eggs collected, overall speed, and entry number, in that order.
Stage, supplied weapons and the King Salmonid will be revealed in Tournament Manager within one week of the Tournament.
Prizes and administration
There are 30 total prize winners across divisions.
Ten Grand Prize winners will each receive a Splatoon 3 themed gaming chair and multiple branded items (total ARV $589 each).
Ten First Prize winners receive trophy and gear (ARV $230 each) and ten Second Prize winners receive gear (ARV $80 each).
Total ARV for all prizes is $8,990 USD.
Potential winners will be notified by email within ten days after the Tournament and must respond within two days to claim prizes.
Legal and broadcast terms
Nintendo and partner Battlefy may record, stream, and publish tournament footage.
By participating, players consent to being filmed and grant Nintendo and Battlefy a perpetual, royalty-free license to use recordings, images and likenesses for promotional purposes.
The tournament is explicitly described as a skill-based competition; odds of winning depend on the number and calibre of eligible participants.
Players must comply with Nintendo's Community Guidelines and tournament rules; failure to comply can result in disqualification.
This announcement provides confirmed operational details for Splatoon 3's Golden Egg Feast 2026 on Nintendo Switch.
Nintendo and partners will manage registration, results and prize fulfillment in accordance with the official tournament rules.
