Nintendo has officially announced Splatoween 2026 for Splatoon 3 on Nintendo Switch, bringing its seasonal Halloween-themed Splatfest back to the series.
Splatoon 3, developed by Nintendo EPD and released for Nintendo Switch on September 9, 2022, continues to receive limited live events even as regular update cadence slows for the title.
According to the official Splatoon Japan Twitter, the special Halloween Splatfest will run for 48 hours from October 31 at 9:00 a.m.
JST through November 2 at 9:00 a.m.

Players will be able to choose their teams during a selection window the week before the event begins.
The event theme asks players, “If you were to jump into a fantasy world, what would you be?” with three team options: Wizard, Knight, and Ninja.
The announcement also highlighted the series’ trademark festive atmosphere and encouraged players to join the in-game celebrations.
