Take-Two CEO Expresses Confidence in Nintendo Switch 2 and Announces Launch Lineup Support
With anticipation building for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, third-party publishers are revealing their strategies for Nintendo’s next-generation hardware.
In a recent discussion with The Game Business, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick detailed the company’s approach to the Nintendo Switch 2, outlining its launch support and Take-Two’s evolving relationship with the Japanese gaming giant.
Take-Two Interactive, the powerhouse behind renowned franchises like Grand Theft Auto, NBA 2K, and Borderlands, has traditionally focused on platforms with wide audience reach.

Addressing the challenges third-party publishers have historically faced on Nintendo hardware, Zelnick acknowledged, “It’s true that first-party titles have traditionally dominated on Nintendo consoles, setting a high bar for third-party releases.
However, recent efforts from Nintendo suggest a growing dedication to fostering a more inclusive ecosystem for partners like Take-Two.” He further added, “We’re meeting this challenge head-on and seizing the opportunity to support Switch 2 from day one.
Our actions speak for themselves—we’re voting with our feet.”
