Nintendo Switch continues to solidify its position as a premier destination for interactive fitness experiences with the ongoing support for Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm & Exercise.
Developed by Imagineer and available exclusively on the Nintendo Switch, the rhythm-based exercise title has become a favorite among players seeking a fun and engaging way to stay active at home.
On January 25, 2023, Nintendo officially unveiled plans to enhance the Fitness Boxing 2 experience with three brand-new paid DLC packs.
These upcoming additions promise to keep fitness routines fresh for both new players and series veterans.
The EDM Workout and Rock Workout DLC packs will introduce a total of six new energetic songs to the playlist, ideal for anyone looking to diversify their workout sessions.
Additionally, the Nature Stages DLC will bring three serene nature-inspired backgrounds, designed to motivate and invigorate players as they exercise.
In addition to the new downloadable content, Nintendo has highlighted the recent release of Version 1.2.0 for Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm & Exercise.
This significant update introduces Leo as the latest instructor, expanding the game's cast and offering users fresh guidance and encouragement during their routines.
The update also brings several practical improvements aimed at refining the overall user experience.
Key enhancements featured in Version 1.2.0 include the ability to remove blocking during daily workouts, an automatic scoring feature for block moves via Action Assist, and increased options for song customization on the Song List screen.
Players can now conveniently track their workout history by reviewing played courses on the exercise results page, and a shortcut has been added to the lounge screen for quick weight entry.
Moreover, the update bolsters game stability while resolving various minor bugs and performance issues.
Notably, Nintendo addressed a prior error with timing adjustments during continuous exercises, made the system more forgiving for extended workouts by eliminating prompts to quit after 30 minutes, and ensured accurate data recording for player weight across multiple days.
Adjustments were also made to instructor movements for enhanced exercise accuracy, and a rare time display issue during summer months has been fixed.
Since its launch in December 2020, Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm & Exercise has steadily expanded its reach through content updates and sustained support from both Nintendo and Imagineer.
The introduction of new music, instructors, and customizable features demonstrates the developer’s ongoing commitment to enriching the game for its active community.
All DLC and updates are available via the Nintendo eShop, ensuring that players have seamless access to the latest content on their Nintendo Switch systems.
With Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm & Exercise, Nintendo continues to deliver innovative ways for Switch owners to incorporate physical activity into their daily routines, strengthening the system’s portfolio of accessible, health-focused titles.
