Nintendo Announces Fire Emblem Engage Wave 3 DLC Release Date, New Emblems, and Global Expansion Nintendo Switch continues to strengthen its library of strategy RPGs with the announcement of the Wave 3 DLC for Fire Emblem Engage.

Released in January 2023 by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo, Fire Emblem Engage quickly captured the attention of tactical RPG fans worldwide with its rich gameplay and stunning visuals.

Hot off the success of Wave 2 following the February Nintendo Direct, Nintendo has now confirmed the full details and release date of the anticipated third wave of Expansion Pass content. According to official communications from Nintendo, the Fire Emblem Engage Wave 3 DLC will be released in Japan on March 8, 2023.

Nintendo has also confirmed that the new content will be made available in North America and Europe during the same week, ensuring a simultaneous launch for players globally via the Nintendo Switch eShop.

This DLC wave showcases popular Emblem characters Chrom and Robin (collectively known as the 'Emblem of Bonds') and brings in Veronica, the 'Emblem of Heroes,' marking a significant return for fan-favorite faces from past Fire Emblem titles. Fire Emblem Engage launched with an Expansion Pass, offering players an ongoing stream of additional content.

The upcoming Wave 3 DLC further extends the game's replay value, following closely behind the rollout of Wave 2 content released shortly after the latest Nintendo Direct.

With each new wave, Nintendo continues to deliver on its promise of engaging and meaningful post-launch support for Switch owners. In the announcement, Nintendo's official Fire Emblem Twitter account shared new in-game footage, providing a first look at Chrom and Robin in action.

Looking forward, the fourth and final wave of the Fire Emblem Engage Expansion Pass is set to introduce a brand-new story arc titled 'Fell Xenologue'.
