Description

In an exciting partnership, Capcom’s Street Fighter 6 and McDonald’s Japan have teamed up to deliver exclusive in-game content for fans.

This unique collaboration grants players access to special 'McDonald's EX' outfit colours for selected Street Fighter 6 characters, available on Nintendo Switch 2 and additional supported platforms.

The arrangement marks a creative crossover between one of the world’s most iconic fighting franchises and an internationally recognized fast food chain. The rollout began in late October 2025, coinciding with the continued popularity of Street Fighter 6 since its release alongside the Nintendo Switch 2 earlier that June.

Through codes distributed on McDonald’s Japan’s official social media channels, players worldwide have gained the opportunity to personalize their favorite fighters with these limited-edition outfit colours.

Notably, Capcom has confirmed that these cosmetic codes can be redeemed locally on Nintendo Switch 2 as well as other platforms, broadening their global appeal. Following the debut set of codes, McDonald’s Japan expanded the promotion by sharing additional unlocks via its social media.

The latest batch includes EX colours for Guile and Akuma.

To activate these colours, players will need to have previously acquired or purchased the associated character outfits within Street Fighter 6.

Additionally, Akuma requires access to the Year 1 Character Pass DLC before these features can be used. The current McDonald’s EX colour codes are listed below: - Guile: 3PXY-5EAT-X3QC-3YWJ - Akuma: S78A-YLCN-FAT4-58XD - Ryu: M3L4-WJAK-8FCH-6AYV - Chun-Li: CDU9-BBPC-DNQU-98M9 - Ken: LFCU-8RYT-7MP9-RH8F To redeem, players should navigate to the options menu in Street Fighter 6, select 'Input event code,' and enter the desired code.

Users must ensure they have unlocked or purchased the corresponding character outfit prior to redemption.

The codes are valid until 12th December 2025, offering ample time for players to claim their rewards. For enthusiasts hoping for more, it is worth noting there is also a McDonald's EX colour for M.

Bison, although this particular reward is reportedly restricted to Japanese users only.

The region-lock on M.

Bison’s code highlights the exclusive nature of certain aspects of this promotion. Street Fighter 6’s collaboration with McDonald’s Japan is yet another testament to Capcom's innovative community engagement strategies.

With the game’s robust launch on Switch 2 and its continued content updates, the crossover underscores Capcom’s ongoing commitment to enriching the player experience.

Street Fighter 6 is currently available for download on the Nintendo Switch 2 eShop and across other supported hardware platforms.
