Street Fighter 6, released on June 2, 2023, has employed a regular cadence of seasonal content and Fighting Pass drops — each comprising both free and premium tiers — and this latest pass adds a range of cosmetic and retro-focused rewards ahead of the holiday season.
The Winter Pocket Present Fighting Pass leans into Pocket Fighter nostalgia.
Capcom is packaging multiple EX-Colors, new player titles, additional music tracks, seasonal avatar gear, challenger screen illustrations, and fresh emotes and stickers.
The pass also includes a playable retro title that players can access through Street Fighter 6’s in-game arcade section.
Capcom provided a trailer demonstrating the new items and how the retro title is integrated into the arcade hub.
In plain terms, Capcom says the pass will also include a variety of additional rewards beyond the headline items, covering both free-content unlocks and premium track exclusives for players who purchase the paid tier.
The company has positioned these Fighting Pass updates as a way to deliver both new cosmetics and throwback content that celebrates Capcom’s arcade heritage.
This is not the first modern revival of Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix.
The 1997 Pocket Fighter has previously been made available in compilation releases: it appears in the Capcom Fighting Collection, which arrived for Nintendo Switch in 2022, and was also included in the Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium collection released in 2022.
Those collections give Switch owners an alternative path to experience the classic alongside the new Street Fighter 6 integration.
For players tracking Street Fighter 6 updates, Capcom’s Fighting Pass model remains the primary vehicle for seasonal cosmetics and retro tie-ins.
The Winter Pocket Present rollout continues the developer’s recent strategy of pairing historical arcade content with modern online fighters, while ensuring rewards are distributed across both free and premium channels within the game’s Fighting Pass structure.
