Highlights include reduced ink consumption for the Big Swig Roller, increased precision for the Glooga Dualies, and tweaks to the points required for special weapons such as the .52 Gal and Enperry Splat Dualies.
The update also refines gear customization by expanding the items eligible for visual adjustments and improving inventory management.
In multiplayer, two new songs enhance audio variety, while new and returning weapons are made available in shops for Fresh Season 2024.
Splatfest functionality is upgraded with the addition of Fizzbangs—a new gameplay element in Splatfest and Tricolor Battles, and leaderboard scoring is updated to reward both first and second-place teams.
Salmon Run mode receives several enhancements, including improved special weapon performance and the introduction of items exchangeable for fish scales.

Other updates impact SplatNet 3, which now tracks Side Order stats, and Tournament Manager, with new rewards for participation.
Nintendo has addressed a comprehensive list of bug fixes—spanning player controls, stage interactions, Salmon Run behavior, Splatfest visuals, and replay functionality—ensuring a polished experience for all players.
According to Nintendo’s official notes, the next planned update is expected in the middle of Fresh Season 2024 and will focus primarily on further balance adjustments.
