Sega has released details for Year Two of Sonic Racing CrossWorlds, outlining a November schedule that introduces new licensed content and an event-format change.

The announcement, reported by My Nintendo News on November 1, 2026, confirms a staggered roll-out of additions that will reach players throughout the month.

Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Year Two kicks off on November 3 with the inclusion of Godzilla.

Sega confirmed that the Godzilla character will be added to the game roster on that date, bringing the long-running Toho franchise into the kart-racing environment.

Following the Godzilla debut, Sega will introduce a new event mode for competitive play.

The developer announced that a Duel Match configured as a “Best-of-10” format will begin on November 12.

This event-mode change is intended to extend head-to-head sessions and adjust competitive pacing for players participating in ranked and limited-time modes.

Rounding out the month’s scheduled content, McLaren Racing will join Sonic Racing CrossWorlds on November 17.

Sega stated that McLaren Racing — the global motorsport and engineering organization — will be added to the game’s vehicle lineup and racetrack events, marking a collaboration between established automotive racing and the Sonic franchise’s live-service offering.

These updates are part of Year Two support for Sonic Racing CrossWorlds, a live-service kart racer developed and published by Sega.

The series of drops through November demonstrates Sega’s continuing investment in licensed crossovers and event-driven content to keep the player base engaged.
