When engaging in a wild encounter, the game now includes a clear animation to indicate whether the Pokémon is exceptionally large or small, such as a diminutive Poochyena or an impressive XXL Mightyena.

An instructional video demonstrating this new animation was featured by recognized Pokémon news outlet Serebii, ensuring fans know what to look for in the field. To further enhance functionality, the Pokédex has been updated to support size tracking.

Trainers can now view and record the sizes of the Pokémon they have caught, setting new records and striving to catch all available sizes of each species.
