Outright Games and developer Infinigon have released a new trailer and full feature rundown for Sesame Street: Friends and Fun, a 3D narrative adventure headed to Nintendo Switch.
The title is aimed at preschool audiences and will arrive at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop worldwide on 9 October 2026.
The publisher said the trailer provides a first look at life on Sesame Street, highlighting the game's cast of franchise characters, character customisation options and a range of story activities and mini-games tied to preparations for a community event called the Big Block Party.
In official communications, Outright Games noted players will be able to explore the neighbourhood, meet familiar residents and take part in playful, educational experiences designed for young children.
Developer Infinigon describes the project as a story-led, exploration-focused experience tailored for preschoolers, where players move into the neighbourhood and join preparations for a large community celebration.
The studio frames the game's progression around interactive storytelling and surprises intended to engage early learners while encouraging creativity and social play.
Gameplay features confirmed by the publisher include full character creation for the player's new resident, the ability to explore themed locations — such as the protagonist's apartment, Big Bird's nest and the Count's Mansion — and a hub of community activities.
Players can take on quests that range from cooking and photography to basic farming tasks, either solo or in local co-op.
The game also introduces Tango, a companion character who helps players traverse Sesame Street and participates in care-based interactions.
Iconic Sesame Street characters available to befriend include Elmo, Grover, Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby, Big Bird and Tango, with each character presenting unique activities — for example, cooking alongside Cookie Monster or assisting Abby with simple magic-themed tasks.
Outright Games confirms there are more than 50 story activities and mini-games across the experience, and a stage mode that allows players to customise backdrops, lighting and effects for in-game performances.
