The studio revealed a new main tank job called Bastion.
Bastion equips a pair of greatshields known as skyltborg and was shown in an action trailer highlighting its defensive toolkit and combat animations.
New zones and city
Everwold?
No Evercold features several new locations, including two Realmships—Hringhorni, the Realmship of Fire, and Naglfar, the Realmship of Water—as well as a newly introduced city named Fargarth.
These zones were presented as key areas players will explore upon the expansion’s launch.
Major crossover raids
Square Enix also announced two high-profile raid collaborations.
The first, Ghosts of Desire, is a new alliance raid series developed in collaboration with khara, Inc., and includes creative input from acclaimed animation director and designer Mahiro Maeda, known for his work on EVANGELION:3.0+1.0 THRICE UPON A TIME.
The second is “Beyond the Lifestream,” an eight-player raid series themed around FINAL FANTASY VII Remake; Naoki Hamaguchi, director of the Remake series, joined Yoshida on stage to discuss the collaboration.
