Capcom and Tohokushinsha Film Corporation will collaborate on a Tokyo exhibition this fall to mark the 30th anniversary of the Resident Evil franchise.
The World of Biohazard 30th Anniversary Exhibition is scheduled to run on the fourth floor of the Shibuya BEAM Gallery from October 30 to December 24, 2026, and tickets are available now through the event’s official channels, including an English-language webpage with opening times and additional artwork.
Event overview and verified details
Tohokushinsha said it is partnering with Capcom to stage a comprehensive celebration of the franchise, combining display pieces, archival materials, and a theater screening that traces the history of Resident Evil (known as Biohazard in Japan) since the series’ 1996 debut.
The exhibition will include in-depth materials focused on the viruses, parasites and fungi that have defined the series’ narratives, and the organizers have released a preliminary venue map showing exhibit layout.
Life-size statues and merchandise
Organizers confirmed that the exhibition will feature life-size statues of key series antagonists.
Albert Wesker’s statue is presented in the style of his Resident Evil 5 appearance, wearing a black trench coat and his signature sunglasses.
Alcina Dimitrescu’s figure is being constructed to a lore-accurate height of 290 cm and will be displayed seated.
Illustrative images released by Tohokushinsha give an early look at both statues.
An official merchandise shop at the venue will sell commemorative goods.
The items shown by the organizers include:
- First zombie plush toy
- Moving zombie dog toy
- 30th-anniversary exhibition key visual acrylic block
- Licker slippers
- Mr. Raccoon keychain
- Red Eagle / Dragonfly ammo case tablet
- Tofu bath toy
Attendees can expect additional goods beyond the previewed items, according to the exhibition announcement.
