Polaroid and The Pokémon Company have announced an official range of themed instant cameras and accessories, available to pre-order on the Pokémon Center website on 25 August and due for full release on 5 October.

The collaboration includes three camera models based on iconic Pokémon imagery, plus protective cases, a themed photo album, and decorative instant film.

The centerpiece of the launch is the Polaroid Now Instant Camera Generation 3 rendered in a Poké Ball white-and-red colourway, listed at £129.99 / $139.99.

Two additional Instant Camera Generation 3 models are inspired by Pikachu and Sylveon, priced at £89.99 / $99.99 respectively.

All three cameras use Polaroid's Generation 3 instant hardware and ship with specially designed film and packaging created for the collaboration.

Design details are a prominent part of the range.

Polaroid and The Pokémon Company incorporated multiple branded touches—such as a Pikachu-tail-shaped lanyard and themed film borders that include Pokémon graphics along the bottom of prints.

The film's protective darkslides are also printed with unique Pokémon silhouettes.

The product line is rounded out with a Poké Ball-shaped protective case and a matching photo album for storing prints.

Those tracking the release schedule can mark two dates: pre-orders open 25 August on the official Pokémon Center website, and the full release is planned for 5 October.

Pricing is confirmed by the companies and reflects Polaroid's Generation 3 instant camera positioning in the market.

The collaboration is likely to attract collectors and fans of Pokémon-branded merchandise as well as players who remember titles such as the original N64 Pokémon Snap or the Switch release New Pokémon Snap (2021).

In journalistic terms, Polaroid's collection blends functional instant photography hardware with collectible, franchise-driven design—aimed at both photography enthusiasts and Pokémon fans.

Pre-orders and full availability will be handled through the Pokémon Center storefront; interested buyers should consult that site for regional shipping details and stock updates.
