Nintendo Japan has revealed an exciting new line of official Splatoon 3 merchandise, timed to coincide with the highly anticipated 'Grand Festival' Splatfest event on Nintendo Switch.
Building on the game's immense popularity since its launch, this latest batch continues Nintendo's tradition of creating unique, fan-favorite collectibles for its thriving multiplayer shooter.
The announcement was initially made during a recent surge of Splatoon 3 news, which covered everything from new amiibo figures to upcoming Splatfest details.
To ensure fans do not miss out, Nintendo has now placed a special focus on this new merchandise drop, available exclusively through the Japanese My Nintendo Store.
The Splatoon 3 'Grand Festival' lineup features three Splatfest t-shirts, each celebrating the festival's September theme: Past, Present, and Future.
Priced at 5,500 yen (approximately £27 or $35), these shirts come in understated black, white, and grey colorways, offering a more subtle alternative to previous Splatfest apparel inspired by Pokémon and Zelda.
Each tee features a distinctive Splatfest team logo on the chest and a set of Splatlandian design icons emblazoned across the back, reflecting the creativity and style synonymous with the Splatoon series.
In addition to the main apparel, Nintendo Japan is introducing a 'Grand Festival' wristband, available for purchase via 100 Platinum Points (plus tax).
This exclusive item is part of Nintendo's ongoing Platinum Points rewards program, incentivizing fan engagement through the My Nintendo ecosystem.
Although the merchandise was initially limited to Japan, previous Splatfest collections have successfully made their way to Western markets.
Nintendo has now officially confirmed that the Splatoon 3 Grand Festival t-shirts will launch in North America and Europe in the coming months, expanding global access for the franchise’s dedicated fanbase.
Ahead of the Grand Festival Splatfest in September, Splatoon 3 players can also look forward to the August Splatfest, which runs from August 10th to 12th and poses the question, "What could you eat every day?" Teams Bread, Rice, and Pasta will be vying for victory in this latest competition.
Since its arrival on Nintendo Switch, Splatoon 3 has delivered a wealth of fresh content, including continuous Splatfest events and high-quality merchandise drops.
With over 10 million copies sold globally and a vibrant competitive community, the title stands out as a flagship entry in the Nintendo Switch library.
Fans interested in picking up the latest Splatoon 3 goods should keep an eye on the My Nintendo Store and official Nintendo Direct updates for release timing and Western availability.
